paroc Vect Wired Mat BlackCoat EI60 is a ventilation and air conditioning duct insulation mat made of non-combustible paroc® stone wool. The product is designed for passive fire protection and thermal insulation of circular ductwork in HVAC systems. It is suitable for all indoor ventilation ducts and HVAC equipment with medium temperature up to 250°C.

paroc Vect Wired Mat BlackCoat EI60 is the instrumental part of a system designed to meet the stringent requirements of fire resistance class EI 60. With the reaction to fire classification Euroclass A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1), the product does not burn nor contribute to fire spread. The solution is fire-tested to be installed without having to sew or hook the transversal joints, speeding up installation and enhancing the overall cost-efficiency of the HVAC system, and it provides reliable fire protection, effective thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and an aesthetically pleasing installation.

The solution is tested to provide effective fire protection for 1.8m hanger distances on circular ducts. The longest installation interval for supports among the solutions available on the market and the liberty to position the insulation on the duct independent of the duct joints and supports allow for greater flexibility in installing the insulation. The product is M1 certified.
