Complete insulation system for indoor and outdoor applications

With PAROC® Clad system, we offer a water-proof product line consisting of pipe sections, elbow solutions, lamella mats and accessories. The Clad facing is water resistant (according to PN-EN 1928:2002 method B), UV resistant (when installed with Paroc Clad Alu tape), resistant to salt water, high puncture resistance (tested according to EN 14477) and resistant against hail storms class HW3.

Due to its special facing, PAROC® Clad system eliminates the need for additional cladding or prefabrication resulting in savings on costs and installation time and enabling an easy installation even under high wind loads.

For high temperatures

Our products can provide long-lasting performance also at high temperatures and are resistant even at service temperatures of up to 700 °C, ensuring smooth operation.

Sophisticated ventilation systems need a professional energy flow

management

Complex and effective ventilation systems usually circulate large amounts of air inside a plant. This can cause significant energy losses especially due to differences in temperature between separate parts of the plant. Ventilation ducts can be an important part of the ventilation system: They extract thermal energy from exhausted indoor air before it is blown off to the outside. Therefore, special attention should be invested to the insulation of this appliance in order to minimize thermal loss, thermal bridges and to keep the energy in the system.

To encounter the described features and challenges PAROC® offers a wide variety of highly specific insulation solutions. 

Your challenge - our solution

PAROC offers solutions for all requirements for a broad variety of ventilation systems and ductwork. For rectangular ducts, stone wool slabs often prove to be the most practical solution, but wired and lamella mats can be a proper alternative.

The application of the water-repellent PAROC® Pro Slab (WR) 450 is the standard ventilation duct system, whether it's a single or multi-layered insulation solution; the slabs should be fixed with pins and self-locking washers.

Another option – in addition to above-mentioned Slabs (WR), Wired Mats (WR) and Lamella Mats (WR) - is offered by the PAROC® Pro Lamella Mat Clad solution. This product is made of non-combustible stone wool insulation and is provided with a very strong aluminum-coated glass fiber cloth cladding with UV protection. It provides the possibility to specify factory-fitted cladding, already applied to the outer surface on the insulation. No need for additional mechanical protection like metal claddings.

Condensation prevention insulation

Temperature and humidity in different sections and rooms in a plant can exhibit major differences. Therefore, when installed in a cold environment, the ventilation equipment and ducts should be fitted with insulation that protects them against condensation. In addition to PAROC® standard products for the insulation of ventilation appliances, PAROC® mats and slabs with aluminum facing are particularly suitable for this purpose. For reducing the risk of corrosion under insulation, we provide water-repellent (WR) products, including wired mats and slabs, all of which have excellent properties such as very low water absorption and a wide temperature range. Learn more about CUI >

Noise reduction in ducts improving workplace quality

Effective noise reduction is an important factor in creating a healthy and more comfortable working environment. Ventilation system equipment and the sound of air moving through ducts can produce a lot of unwanted noise, which needs to be minimized. Noise can also be carried from an adjacent room or plant section through air ducts, breaking through the duct walls. Therefore, it is necessary to insulate ventilation ducts and components with noise insulation, preferably stone wool mats and slabs. PAROC® products are used in a wide range of ventilation equipment and silencers. PAROC Calculus 

PAROC Calculus is a technical insulation calculation program for dimensioning thermal insulation for various applications in the HVAC and Process industries.

PAROC Calculus features:

• Easy-to-use interface; works on PCs, tablets, and cellphones

• Calculations of heat losses, surface temperatures, and temperature drop in pipes, ventilation ducts, process industry tanks, valves, and flanges

• Simple input of pipe diameters and duct dimensions (predefined)

• Correcting for thermal bridges of pipe and duct suspensions

• Print calculations as a PDF. Multiple simultaneous printouts in PDF are possible
