The PAROC® Pro Wired Mat LE delivers for industrial facilities looking to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and ensure a safer working environment for employees.
PROBLEM
THE BINDER used in standard insulation products can create emissions during the first heat-up. At high temperatures above 200 °C, conventional binder usually decomposes and releases non-methane volatile organic compounds (VOC) like mono isocyanates and formaldehyde. Therefore, special measures need to be taken when stone wool on indoor applications is heated the first time, during start-up or after maintenance.
SOLUTION
The PAROC® Pro Wired Mat LE. We have created a new generation of binders based on renewable, biobased ingredients. This innovative binder releases up to 50% less formaldehyde and 90% less mono isocyanates during the first heat-up than standard PAROC® PRO Wired Mat. Also, it emits up to 59% less mono isocyanates and up to 57% less formaldehyde emissions compared to known competing stone wool products, and as a result, it provides the lowest emissions available for stone wool insulation products*
