Reinventing Hällekis – Major Progress in the Project

Date Published 2025-06-19

Time flies when you're shaping the future! At our stone wool insulation manufacturing facility in Hällekis, we are right on track with the transformation of our coke-fired furnaces to electric melting technology.

The project includes a 7,500 square meter facility with two new buildings – one for the electric furnace and one for raw material handling and filtration. The electric furnace is scheduled to start up in early 2027 and will supply our customers across Scandinavia with low-carbon insulation.
