We at Owens Corning® paroC® are very proud to introduce the first products in our new paroC® Vect portfolio, a re-designed range of passive fire protection solutions for HVAC ventilation ducts. The new product range is set to launch with a focus on unwavering consistent quality, alongside innovative market solutions.
An Advance in HVAC Passive Fire Protection
Fire safety is at the core of paroC® Vect. These innovative products were developed following extensive research and rigorous fire testing in some of Europe’s most respected laboratories.
The new paroC® Vect Mat BlackCoat EI60 and paroC® Vect Wired Mat BlackCoat EI30 are now available in Scandinavia and Finland.

* In internal simulation tests, the installation of paroC® Vect Mat BlackCoat EI60 was up to 15% faster to install compared to the commonly adopted double-layer solution with wired mat and lamella mat.

Fire Protection System Solution for Circular and Rectangular Ducts
Solution highlights:
- EI30 – withstands fire for 30 minutes
- Suitable for both circular and rectangular ducts
- Up to 10% faster installation of mat*, without the need to hook or sew the transversal joints
- Aesthetic appeal with uniform insulation thickness, suitable for open installations
- Effective fire protection for 1.8m hanger distances on circular ducts
* In internal simulation tests, the installation of paroC® Vect Wired Mat BlackCoat EI30 was, depending on mat width (900/600) and duct size, 6-10% faster than competing products in the same category.
