paroc Hvac Lamella Mat BlackCoat is a ventilation and air conditioning duct insulation mat made of non-combustible paroc® stone wool. The product is designed for thermal and condensation insulation of circular and rectangular ductwork in HVAC systems. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor pipes and HVAC equipment and can withstand medium temperatures of up to 250 °C. For outdoor installations, to maintain the integrity of the AluCoat-facing, the product must be protected from weather conditions with an additional covering. The product combination of flexibility and stiffness makes the installation process efficient and effective by allowing the mat to easily conform to the shape of ducts and other HVAC systems.
paroc Hvac Lamella Mat BlackCoat does not burn or contribute to fire spread with a reaction to fire classification of Euroclass A2-s1,d0, according to EN 13501-1. The lamellas' perpendicular fiber orientation maintains stiffness to preserve its designed thickness on all edges, guaranteeing consistent insulation performance and enhancing the overall efficiency of the HVAC system. The product is tested according to voluntary indoor emission classification certificate M1.
It is reinforced with a BlackCoat facing, a water vapour-resistant barrier, which together with taped joints reduces condensation risk and vapour permeability. The matte black finish minimises light reflection, offering a discreet appearance for visible installations. With paroc BlackCoat Tape having a facing identical to that of the lamella mat, and with other paroc accessories, correct and efficient insulation can be achieved.
