Reduce energy losses and safety issues with industrial pipe insulation
Proper insulation of piping in industrial processes is critical, as inadequately insulated systems, damaged insulation or uninsulated components can lead to significant waste of energy and high operating costs. This applies to straight pipes as well as to elbows. Providing an appropriate insulation solution is therefore of outmost importance. It can help to prevent heat loss, thermal bridges, and corrosion under insulation, ensuring optimal operation and energy efficiency.
Minimise the risk of corrosion under insulation with industrial pipe insulation
PAROC offers various high-performance insulation solutions for straight pipes and elbows. All of them are available as “WR” version (water-repellent) and have an average tested water absorption that is 10 times lower than the toughest standard (EN13472). With Paroc® CUI Spacers, we offer a flexible non-metallic spacer system. The solution is easy to install, requires few tools, fits most pipe diameters and is available as a belt or spring version. The system provides an airgap between the insulation material and the pipe surface, allowing moisture to dry out and water to drain away from the pipe surface. The Paroc® CUI Spacer system is designed to also provide space for electrical heat tracing or CUI detection systems.
Specialized solutions for acoustic insulation
PAROC pipe sections provide a good solution for insulating pipes, valves and flanges. They do not require any additional support structure on horizontal pipework, which can increase thermal transfer and in some cases could increase noise. PAROC® provides a broad range of specialized solutions for acoustic insulation and covers all classes of ISO 15665:2023 (including "Shell" class D).
